1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the TimeVault (“App”), you agree to be bound by these
Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

TimeVault is a digital wallet application designed to help users build financial discipline by locking funds for a selected period of time.

The App allows users to:

● Deposit funds
● Lock funds for a defined duration
● Unlock funds after the lock period
● Request early unlock (subject to app conditions)
● Link debit/credit cards
● View transaction history

TimeVault is not a bank and does not provide traditional banking services.

3. Eligibility

To use the App, you must:

● Be at least 18 years old (or legal age in your jurisdiction)
● Provide accurate registration information
● Comply with all applicable laws

4. Smart Lock Feature

When a user locks funds:

● Funds become inaccessible until the selected lock period expires.
● Early unlock may be available through specific in-app conditions (such as viewing
advertisements).
● The psychological commitment mechanism is voluntary and user-controlled.

TimeVault is not responsible for user regret or financial inconvenience resulting from voluntarily locking funds.

5. Early Unlock Policy

Users may request early unlock where permitted by the system.
Early unlock conditions:

● May require viewing advertisements.
● May be limited per lock cycle.
● May not be available in all regions.

TimeVault reserves the right to modify early unlock conditions at any time.

6. Payments & Third-Party Services

TimeVault integrates with third-party providers, including but not limited to:

● Stripe (payment processing)
● Plaid (card linking, if applicable)
● Google AdMob (advertising)

We are not responsible for:

● Payment processor downtime
● Third-party data breaches
● Banking errors outside our system

All financial transactions are subject to Stripe’s terms and policies.

7. Fund Management & Liquidity

Funds deposited through the App:

● May be held in segregated accounts.
● May be placed in secure overnight treasuries or low-risk instruments.
● Will prioritize capital preservation.
● Will remain fully liquid and available upon lock expiration.

TimeVault does not guarantee investment returns unless explicitly stated.

8. Account Deletion

If a user permanently deletes their account:
● Historical transaction data may be retained for legal, compliance, and audit purposes.
● Locked funds remain subject to the original lock terms.
● If required by regulation, funds may be held in system vault until properly withdrawn.

9. Advertising & Monetization

The App may display:

● Banner ads
● Reward-based ads
● Sponsored content

Revenue generated may be used to offset operational and transaction costs.

We are not responsible for third-party advertiser content.

10. Limitation of Liability

TimeVault shall not be liable for:

● Financial losses due to user decisions
● Technical downtime
● Third-party failures
● Market fluctuations
● Force majeure events

Maximum liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to:

● Suspend accounts
● Restrict access
● Terminate services

If users violate policies or applicable laws.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of
revised terms.
